Over the past 53 years the Sports Car Racing Association of the
Monterey Peninsula (SCRAMP) has been an active and highly visible
part of the Monterey Peninsula community. Since our beginning in
1957 when 62 local companies and scores of individuals offered
their services and dollars to make Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca a
reality, SCRAMP has been a community effort.

to snow ski and play tennis, but my knees won’t let me do those

Bio: First race was in 1966; became Assistant Director in 1998 and joined the Board of Directors in 2004; in 2007 was appointed the track archivist.

$400m a year in revenues for a computer company, successfully
restructured two companies, spent time at three start-ups, and
currently work in the mobile industry.

Bio: After college went to work at Maryland Naval Shipyard for 20 years. When it closed was transferred to the Navy’s Fleet Numerical Center in Monterey. Retired in 2007. Began coming to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca while in high school in 1969. Started volunteering in 1996 after moving to Monterey.
Bio: Over 30 years in the financial services industry beginning, with a management training program with Bank of America. In 1983 began a Securities career with Yates, Downer, Dyer and Kirkpatrick in Carmel, Calif. Spent 13 years with the late George Yates working with large institutional accounts. I am registered with the NAS. as a general securities representative with Royal Alliance Associates, Inc., and with the State of California as a Registered Investment Advisor. A Marine Corps veteran and live in Carmel, Calif.

Prior to this was senior paralegal and customs compliance manager with Tanimura & Antle, one of America’s largest privately held agribusiness companies beginning in March, 1995. Prior to this was the corporate paralegal with the Salinas, Calif., law firm of Noland, Hamerly, Etienne & Hoss, one of the largest and oldest law firms in the California Central Coast region. Areas of expertise include corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, real estate, California water law, and PACA.
