Advance purchase general admission starts at $50 (Friday) and
three-day passes are $130 and includes a complimentary souvenir
magazine. General admission and paddock is free for Children 12

The field for this year’s Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion is
taking shape as 533 historic race cars have been initially
accepted for the August 16-18 event. The Governing Committee has
the option of accepting an additional 17 cars to complete the
grid for the annual race at Mazda Raceway Laquna Seca.
“What a joyous moment it is to get the notification that my car
and I have been accepted to the event,” said Pen Pendelton of Los
Angeles, Calif., who will be driving a 1961 Alsbury Special. “It
is really an honor to be a part of something so special.”
The Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion in August will be bustling
with the sounds of Corvettes. But for true purists, few may be as
important as the 1953 model. Known within ‘Vette circles as the
C1, Chevrolet astonished onlookers with the revolutionary
Corvette in 1953, which lasted nine years to 1962. Through this
