Laguna Seca in the form of the American Le Mans Series
(ALMS). Highlighting cars that compete in the legendary 24
Heures du Mans, high-speed, high-tech race cars from Mazda,
Accura, and Aston Martin vie for the event title over a gruelling
six-hour race that tests man and machine. Throughout the
race weekend fans are treated to autograph sessions, tech talks,

Championship returns to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for its ninth
consecutive year in 2013.
MotoGP is the premier motorcycle racing World Championship; an
eighteen-race series visiting fourteen countries, four continents
and with global television coverage. Nine nationalities of the
world’s most skilled riders line a grid armed with cutting edge
motorcycle technology with prototype machinery fielded by three
manufacturers; Ducati, Yamaha and Honda.
More than 2.5 million people came through the gates of the
circuits to watch MotoGP in 2012.
The Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion is a cornerstone of
Monterey Peninsula’s Classic Car Week. The 2013 event’s featured
marque is the iconic Corvette. Only around 550 vehicles will be
accepted, based on the car’s authenticity, race provenance and
period correctness. Nearly every decade of motorsports history
will be represented in what is described as a museum springing to
life.
The stars of the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series will visit
Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca September 7-8. The Continental Tire
Sports Car Series, powered by MAZDA, will feature competition in
the Daytona Prototype class, and the Grand Touring (GT) category.
Grand-Am racing events typically feature some of the most
exciting competition in all of racing, with drivers bumping and
barging their way past each other in the race to the checkered
flag.
Next year’s race schedule for Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is
shaping up to be the best season ever for motorcycle race fans
with organizers announcing today that the eni FIM Superbike World
Championship will be joining the MotoGP World Championship on the
2013 calendar. World Superbike will take place September 27-29,
2013 and is the series’ only U.S. appearance.
World Superbike competes in 12 countries with 14 races, fielding
a typical grid of two dozen skilled international riders on six
competitive manufacturer brands. Each round has two races and the
results of each race are combined to determine two annual World
Championships, one for riders and one for manufacturers.
